Moo Organics was birthed out of a cow-sized hole in the market for skin care that aligned with the growingly popular carnivore health care.
Here at Moo we started to follow the carnivore eating ideals & became more & more aware of how many items we ate & used that just are not healthy or natural for anyone! This threw us into the worldwide search for animal based skin care products that don’t contain anything we would not eat…”because, what you put on your skin is as important as what you put in your mouth!

Tallow
From farm to face, our tallow (Beef leaf fat) is produced from grass-fed beef, chemical free, born & raised on a local farm in Roma QLD and rendered into tallow right here in-house at Moo Organics on the Gold Coast. Tallow rejuvenates and refreshes dry and tired looking skin & keeps skin soft and supple while creating a natural glow. Said to have anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties, tallow does not clog your skin pores. Tallow promotes the healing of eczema, sunburn or wounds or scars & lightens sun spots. Tallow moisturises and helps replenish your skin cells. Tallow can also be a beneficial aid for the healing of acne, rashes & doesn’t sting when applied to your skin.
Emu Oil
Produced on an Emu farm in Marburg QLD, our Emu Oil contains a balance of Omega 9, 3 & 6. Emu Oil is a natural ani-inflammatory product. Our Emu’s are raised in a chemical free environment and come from a high standard cruelty free farm.
Bees Wax
Sourced from a local Apiary in Jimboomba QLD. Our beeswax is cleaned using only filtered rainwater and 50-micron filters, ensuring our beeswax is 100% natural and free from any nasties.
Goat Milk
Sent to us from Drouin Victoria, our goats milk is of the highest quality because our goats are not treated with growth hormones.
Bentonite Clay
Bentonite clay forms from volcanic ash, it is a type of absorbent clay that is often used in natural beauty products and home remedies. It is known for its ability to draw out impurities and toxins from the skin and has been used for a variety of purposes both on the skin and ingested. Bentonite Clay helps remove toxins from the body, treats oily skin & acne, detoxify skin, treats poison ivy, aids weight loss, relieves constipation, treats diarrhoea, a nappy rash treatment, sun protection, removing lead and other heavy metals, and lowers cholesterol. Zinc (Non Nano)
Zinc is one of the most common elements in the Earth’s crust. It is found in soil, air, and water and is present in food. Non-nano zinc is an active ingredient used in mineral sunscreens to provide broad-spectrum coverage against both UVA and UVB rays. Non-nano guarantees you’ll enjoy all the benefits of zinc oxide in the safest and most effective way possible.
MCT Oil
Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are fats that occur naturally in some foods, such as whole foods and dairy products. Consumers sometimes confuse MCT oil and coconut oil as being the same product, but coconut oil contains all four types of MCTs as well as other fats. The difference between coconut oil and MCT oil is purity. Coconut oil comprises approximately 60 percent MCTs and other fats constitute the rest of its composition. MCT oil is comprised entirely of MCTs. MCT oil’s odorless and colorless nature makes it versatile for various homemade beauty products such as Sunny Dayz summer skin support.
Lanolin
Lanolin, also called wool fat, wool yolk, wool wax, or wool grease, is a wax secreted by the sebaceous glands of wool-bearing animals. Lanolin used by humans comes from domestic sheep breeds that are raised specifically for their wool. Lanolin’s waterproofing property aids sheep in shedding water from their coats. Certain breeds of sheep produce large amounts of lanolin. Lanolin’s role in nature is to protect wool and skin from climate and the environment; it also plays a role in skin hygiene. Lanolin and it’s derivatives are used in the protection, treatment, and beautification of human skin.

What is Tallow?
As a saturated animal fat, tallow almost looks like a hybrid of coconut oil and butter, but with a dry, waxy texture. It’s generally made from cattle fat, but can come from any animal, except pork — pork tallow is called lard. So, tallow is basically cow lard. Beef tallow is: 50% saturated fat, 42% monounsaturated fat and 4% polyunsaturated fat. Tallow is made from rendering suet, which is the hard, white fatty layer that surrounds an animal’s organs, specifically the loins and kidneys. This processes can take days and has multiple levels to it for us to produce the tallow required to present you with these amazing MOO handmade products.

Are Moo Products Organic?
Our products are organic although not “Certified Organic” so we can not advertise them as such. Please refer to our ingredients section above to learn more.

Does Tallow smell like cows?
Our Moo tallow has been rendered 2-3 times before being produced into our products, this process removes most odours however, initially you may smell a slight difference (most people are used to added fragrances) but do not be alarmed, directly after it is applied, this fragrance disappears & you are left with soft subtle skin your friends will be jealous of.

What is Carnivore Diet?
We believe that what you put IN your body is as important as what you put ON your body & visa versa therefore, we encourage you to take a deep look into your current diet to also help correct your skin conditions. Our preferred diet is the Carnivore diet. We have tried & tested this for the past 4 years and will never turn back to a standard diet again.
The Carnivore Diet basically consists of consuming all things animal related & eliminating all carbs, chemicals, plants & seeds. There is a lot to re-learn about healthy living & this way of life but the benefits far outweigh the effort it takes to do a little bit of research.

No, tallow will not clog your pores, in-fact tallow is so natural it soaks into your skin blending naturally with our molecular makeup as humans. Just the way God intended it!
